This bag was my first attempt at applique and I surprised myself at how gorgeous it came out. It is whimsical, I didn't plan out where the pieces would go, I just started to add material and sew them on. The colors are fabulous. The orange and yellow of the sun really pop out against the blue background. This is absolutely a one of a kind bag- a piece of wearable art. The image is made with overlaid layers of felt. The inside lining is made with a soft red felt. The bag is 13.5 inches high and 10.5 inches wide. The picture at the bottom shows me wearing it over my shoulder (note: the image is in reverse because I used the mirror).This bag is just $25 plus shipping and handling!
