Sunset inspired Tokyo Tie Bag

This is a clutch size bag in the brilliant orange, yellow and red colors of the autumn sunset. The pattern contains flowers, butterflies and fireflies. It is 10 inches wide by 6 inches deep. It closes by tying the two handles together and has a hidden zipper pocket on the inside for your keys and change. It is the perfect color and size to add a little pep to any outfit.
I found only a small square of this material, so this bag is one of a kind.  I did a great job on this purse, if I do say so myself.  The hidden pocket is well reinforced, so your chapstick and tampons won't start peeking through when the material wears down.  That always seems to happen to any of the bags I've ever bought.  It's one of the signs that your well-loved purse has seen the end of it's days.  I was selling this for $45, but I've marked it down to $35.  Don't wait, order it now!

Jobs Tears Choker and Earrings Set

This classy choker and earrings set can be worn out at night or to a dinner party. It looks great paired with a dressy black top and would look great for a job interview. I gathered the Job's Tears beads by hand while on a hike on the Ko'olau range on Oahu, Hawaii. The light gray of the Job's Tears is brilliantly set off by the white beads and silver of the findings.
The earrings are each made with three Job's Tears dangling from a silver jump ring.
The choker is 15 inches long and fastens with a barrel screw clasp.
This set would be a thoughtful, one of a kind gift for a birthday or anniversary.

Chunky Unakite and Jasper Gemstone Choker

This necklace is made with two colors of stone beads. I was inspired when I saw the beads laid out in the store. They look beautiful together. The photograph doesn't quite do justice to the true dark colors of the stone. The unakite is a forest green with pink and white swirls in the stones. The jasper is a dark maroon with flecks of black and light gray. They are reminiscent of polished granite. The stopper beads are sterling silver. The length of the choker is 16 inches long. The closure is a strong magnet, which makes it super easy to open and close.

Palm Tree Applique Bag

This bag was my first attempt at applique and I surprised myself at how gorgeous it came out.  It is whimsical, I didn't plan out where the pieces would go, I just started to add material and sew them on.  The colors are fabulous.  The orange and yellow of the sun really pop out against the blue background.  This is absolutely a one of a kind bag- a piece of wearable art.  The image is made with overlaid layers of felt.  The inside lining is made with a soft red felt.  The bag is 13.5 inches high and 10.5 inches wide.  The picture at the bottom shows me wearing it over my shoulder (note: the image is in reverse because I used the mirror).

This bag is just $25 plus shipping and handling!

Dangly Earrings

My latest craze has been making simple dangly earrings to go along with my pixie haircut.  You can see me sporting my own Yin-Yang Earrings in the picture below.  These Buddha and Yin-Yang Earrings were super easy to make and you can own them for 12 dollars plus shipping.  I love the idea of adding something you wouldn't expect to a kidney wire.  They are a great conversation piece and I wear mine all the time.  The cost just $12 dollars a pair, so order now!

Blue Sun Hat with Polka Dot Ribbon

This is a very cute, convenient sun hat with a floppy brim. It is made of blue canvas and has a soft purple cotton inner lining. It's a great hat for the beach, it keeps the sun out of your eyes and off your skin, plus you can throw it right into your beach bag. It can be ironed if the brim gets wrinkly with all the wear it's going to get.

Handmade Stuffed Elephants

This is my most popular item.  These cute, cuddly, stuffed elephant toys are 7 and 1/2 inches tall. They are great gifts for young children and are most often bought for newborns.  They are made with cotton and stuffed with polyfill.  You can choose what kind of eyes you would like, or leave it up to me to choose what I think goes best with your pattern.  They can be sewn on button or adorable googly eyes with eyelashes.  The eyes can also be embroidered on to make a parent feel comfortable leaving their toddler alone with it (buttons or other small objects can be a choking hazard for children under the age of 2). The ears are made with fuzzy felt.  The feet are filled with poly micro-beads to make it stand on its own.  The micro beads are sewn into a separate layer, to keep them from falling out after the toy has been hugged and loved and worn down.  You can request to leave these out, but the polyfil will wear down over time and the elephant will start to slouch.

Over time I will add pictures of materials I have on hand so you can choose which you would like your elephant to be made from.  I love Hawaiian prints, but have done plaid, swirls, you name it, an elephant looks adorable in many styles.  I have even done an elephant in a zebra print pattern.  So cute!!

The first time I made an elephant (the blue one seen in the picture above, sewn in blue canvas) it was for my nephew who was only a few months old.  I wanted him to be able to take it everywhere so I embroidered simple little eyes.  He loved it, but so did his 2 year old brother, who stole it and slept with it for months.  From there a few of my friends ordered some and they have grown in popularity. It is so cuddly that you don't want to put it down and it has been hard for me to part with each one.  You really just want to squeeze them.

The elephants I currently have in stock are $75 a piece.  If you are interested in other colors or patterns, contact me and I can create something to your specifications for 10 dollars more!
